The French Banking Federation (FBF) announces the appointment of Jérôme Raguénès as Head of the Digital Solutions and Payment Systems and Methods department.
Jérôme Raguénès, 45, began his career in payment methods at Caisse Centrale des Banques Populaires before working as a consultant on major strategic projects for leading banks.
He joined the FBF in 2002 to coordinate the SEPA project and oversee regulatory projects, with responsibility for defending the interests of French banks before the national and European authorities.
In 2015, Jérôme Raguénès was appointed Head of Digital Coordination and became a member of the Digital Strategy Group of the European Banking Federation’s Executive Committee.
He holds a DEA post-graduate degree in economic analysis, modelling and quantitative methods from the University of Val d’Essonne/ENSAE) and graduated from the ENA CHEE (Advanced European Studies) programme.
