Coronavirus: stepping up for VSEs and SMEs
During a meeting held at the French Ministry for the Economy and Finance, bank representatives informed Bruno Le Maire that they are making every effort to help their customers, including in particular VSEs and SMEs, overcome any problems arising from the development of the coronavirus epidemic which are liable to temporarily impact their business. French banks are standing firmly by their side to support them in this difficult period, as they always have in times of uncertainty and during economic downturns.
They will carefully review the individual position of each VSE and SME impacted in sectors exposed to the consequences of this health crisis. They will work to develop solutions tailored to their short-term financing needs on a case-by-case basis.
