Barbara Sillac appointed Head of the FBF’s Banking and Accounting Supervision Department
Barbara Sillac joins the French Banking Federation (FBF) on 4 October 2022, as Head of the Banking and Accounting Supervision Department. She replaces Bertrand Lussigny.
A graduate of Sciences Po Paris and HEC, with a postgraduate degree from Paris IX Dauphine, Barbara Sillac began her career in 1997 at Deloitte, first in Paris, as an auditor for various financial institutions. She continued her career at Deloitte in London between 2001 and 2003 before returning to Paris, in the Technical Standards Department, until 2005.
In 2005, she joined Société Générale’s Finance Department, in the Accounting and Regulatory Standards Control Division. In 2007, she joined Strategic and Financial Planning and became Head of the Regulatory Team.
Her mission at the FBF will be to provide her expertise on all market issues related to banking and accounting supervision.
