Developing capital markets in Europe

Memo n°9 – The French Banking Federation has published a memo on the developing capital markets in Europe.

The objective of the Capital Markets Union (CMU) is to create a single capital market, to establish a Financing Union. The main challenge facing the French banking industry is creating conditions for the actual development of European capital markets, which are key to supporting market financing for customers. Just like the Banking Union, the CMU is also important for the sovereignty and integrity of the eurozone.
