Jérôme Pedrizzetti appointed chief legal and compliance officer at the French Banking Federation

The French Banking Federation (FBF) announces the nomination of Jérôme Pedrizzetti as its chief legal and compliance officer, effective 3 April 2018, replacing Alain Gourio, who had held those positions since 2013 and has decided to retire.

After studying law and earning a degree from the economics and finance department of the Institut d'Etudes Politique de Paris, Jérôme Pedrizzetti, 47 years old, worked for 10 years as an attorney, first at the firm of Gide Loyrette Nouel, then at Linklaters, and, after a temporary posting, at the firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York. In 2006 he joined the Crédit Agricole group as head of legal affairs for the Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole. He was most recently in charge of "general business" within Crédit Agricole S.A.'s Legal Affairs department.

Alain Gourio will continue to work closely with the French Banking Federation, having been appointed editor of its journal, Revue Banque.
